FAQ

What is High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU)?

It is a non-surgical therapy that helps in lightening up the face and the neck, giving it a younger and finer look.

How does HIFU work?

The procedure stimulates the production of collagen using ultrasound technology which rejuvenates the skin of the patient, making it appear younger.

Naturally, age slows down the production of collagen which causes our facial muscles to lose tone and elasticity.

This prompts it to sag, hence creating wrinkles. HIFU uses ultrasound energy between 65 and 70c to activate the production of Collagen.

This is done systematically, directing concentration to the layers of the skin which effectively increases collagen production in these tissues.

It reconditions and renews the skin from within, which causes stimulation that lightens up the skin, making it active; a process that withers out the wrinkles to give the patient a younger look.

This, therefore, makes the face and neck skin firmer and the tone lighter after the exercise.

Which areas does HIFU Concentrate on?

This treatment directly touches on the
Neck and jaw line by tightening the muscles
